I'm currently working on automating the position creation process in SAP SuccessFactors using Power Automate, and I wanted to reach out to see if anyone here has implemented something similar or is exploring the same.
My current setup:
• Managers fill out a SharePoint list form with details like start date, end date, department, title, job code, etc.
• I’ve built a Power Automate flow that:
○ Triggers on new list items,
○ Retrieves the data,
○ And (in progress) sends a request via the SAP OData connector to create a position in SuccessFactors.
I’d love to connect with others who are:
• Using SAP SuccessFactors OData APIs for integration,
• Working with Power Automate or similar low-code platforms for HR process automation,
• Or have experience in position management automation in general.
Would be great to exchange tips, field mappings, gotchas, authentication advice (OAuth/BTP), and anything else you’ve learned along the way!
