Imagine the following scenario:
We developed a solution for client A using SQL. Now a client B wants to use the same solution but needs to have it's own SQL server and so on for client C, D... All in the same tenant and environment. The SQL has to be different due to data policies.
Note: Here each client belongs to the same company, here it means the people that are allocated to a client but accessing the solution using the company credentials.
The problem:
If we develop a feature for client A, we need to replicate this feature for all clients but how can we achieve this without having to go to every solution? If we have 10 clients, would be 10 equal solutions but with different SQL. The main problem that I'm facing is that we can't use environment variables in canvas apps for SQL datasource. This would fix part of the problem I believe.
Has anyone faced a challenge like this or similar problems?
