Flow run timed out because the starting action was not performed

Hello Power Automate users,

I am currently in a bit of a pickle and I cannot seem to get my head around this issue I am having.

Currently I am running a authorization flow through a SharePoint list. I have managed to write the flow correctly however, when I come to test the flow it is not triggering and it is timing out on the automatic flow test.

Here is a picture of my list connected to the flow:

The flow should be triggered when the 'Begin Authorisation' field is "Yes" through an automatic flow.

Here is the a picture of the trigger point:

However, the trigger above is not triggering the flow.

Unfortunately as well, I cannot seem to test the flow. As the flow seems to timeout after 10 minutes leaving me in the grey as to what the actual issue(s) are.

Please see the complete flow below and hopefully you can help me wherever I may be going wrong:

Thank you in advanced.

I think the problem is with your trigger condition. This needs to be based on a field in your SharePoint item. These are good posts that explains how to create trigger conditions: Power Automate Trigger Conditions made EASY - Power Platform Community (microsoft.com) and A simple way to create a trigger condition in Power Automate (tomriha.com).

On an aside, you should black out the URL of your SharePoint site for data privacy reasons. Nobody needs to know your domain in order to assist you.

    Kind regards,

    David

Thank you it was indeed a simple trigger condition. Apologies, I didn't realize the URL was visible. I have covered that up now 😥

Thank you again for your help.

    Kindest regards,

    Reece
