Trigger Flow on To (Proxy) SMTP Address

Im sure I am missing something, but I am unable to get a Flow to trigger based on the specific email address of the mailbox it is being sent to.

We have a mailbox, its default SMTP address is default@domain.com. It has additional SMTP (proxy / secondary) addresses of address1@domain.com and address2@domain.com

We wish to trigger separate workflows per proxy / secondary address but no matter what I put in the To field if emails are sent to that address, whilst they appear in the mailbox as expected, they are skipped by the workflow.

I tried this mid / late last year and assumed it was because Flow was still maturing, but when testing again I notice the same behaivior in Azure Logic Apps - is this still not possible or am I missing something?

Thanks for your time,

Aaron

    Hi @AaronBoundy,

If the to field is not able to identify the condition, then we may consider add a condition or a switch action after the trigger.

With the help of the Workflow Definition Language, using compose and split function should be able to identify the string before @ sign.

    Regards,

    Michael
