In my Power App and Power Automate workflow, I have functionality to upload a file to a document library with the associated metadata. I need to add the ability to upload a link to a file outside of the document library that would also have metadata. Users will either be able to upload the link or upload the file. It seems like there ought to be a way since you can create a link in a SharePoint document library, but I'm struggling to find it.

Any guidance will be appreciated. I'm a beginner and need details.

link in Power Apps

I want to upload a link in the document library that the power app is running on. In SharePoint, you can upload a link by selecting New, Link in the document library. It's not a document. It has the URL.

Hi

You say upload a link, upload it to where exactly?

Are you saying in a Document library you want to create a "link" as if its a Document?
