Hello to everyone!

I have trouble in doing sth very simple. All I need is to create a link to a specific email address in a Teams message sent by PA.

I have tried to click on the link button and type the following:

But when I run the flow, the mailto:ilonamaz@gmail.com appears only as a text in the Teams message.

I am very grateful for your help!

Best,

Ilona

@Anonymous  First include your link and then Switch to code view by clicking <> tab in body (right upper side). Save your flow and re run.

Please 'Thumbs Up' the posts that helped you and 'Accept as Solution' if my post answered your question.

    Thanks for the suggestion.

I linked it as described above, switched to code view, saved and ran. But it didnt work. It redirects me to a blank webpage.

Try using an @ mention since you are posting in Teams. @PieterVeenstra has come up with instructions to do this at How to @mention someone in Microsoft Teams using Power Automate (sharepains.com)

Although., this will probably not work as I noticed the e-mail address is a gmail account.

    Hi @David- ,

Thank you for your message! The e-mail is outlook, I used gmail only as an example.

I tried the mention action and it didn't work, because "the user cannot be found". Who knows why this time...

But I found another solution, simple turning into code view and writing this line <at>user e-mail</at>

This then works! The user is tagged in the Teams message.
