I'm having a CSV table created with records on a SharePoint list and one of the field items I'm bringing in is the 'created' date from the SharePoint list record. However when the data is exported, the date and time field looks like this -

Is there a way to change this so that instead it looks like this - 2021-01-07 20:00

    Hi @ItsMeCarlos

    Use expression formatDateTime('yourdate','yyyy-MM-dd HH:mm')

    Hi @abm

Thank you, I tried that but it doesn't seem to work since the "Created" date value I'm using is from the SharePoint list itself. What would I put in the 'yourdate' section of the expression?

    Hi @ItsMeCarlos

Your date is the one you need to replace with with  your SharePoint date. See below. Here I am reading the list and formatting the created date.

    Hi,

This still did not work for me. When I run the flow, I get this error -

    Hi @ItsMeCarlos

Its difficult to analyse from the error you had given. If you can provide a screenshot of your flow that will be helpful.

    Thanks

Sure, here is what the flow looks like and the error I'm getting -

    formatDateTime(body('Get_items')?['value'],'yyyy-MM-dd HH:mm')

    Hi @ItsMeCarlos

Thanks for the screenshot. Please follow the below steps.

    image.png

    Above expression is as follows:

    formatDateTime(item()?['Created'],'yyyy-MM-dd HH:mm')

Under the Select Action step you can map other columns. I only added the date for the above.

    Thanks

This broke the process and now the file contains "jiberish".

The exported file should only have two columns with data a 10 digit number from the 'xm fa' field and the date time for the created field in the second column.

    Hi @ItsMeCarlos

Looks like your second mapping (XM FA) value might be wrong. Looks like you are mapping the whole output there.

    Thanks
