Sending an email to myself when an Excel Spreaadsheet is updated.

I want to send myself an email when a line is added or changed in my Excel Spreadsheet. I have created a flow but I don't understand how to create the trigger to make it look for the changes and send the email. Do I need a special license or will it do it with my organizations 365 license?

If your Excel file is stored in SharePoint, the Power Automate trigger you need is: When an item or a file is modified

Click on the folder icon to select your excel file

If your Excel file is stored in OneDrive, then you need the OneDrive trigger When a file is modified

To add onto the previous person. There is nothing in the Connector for Excel that will tell you the changes.

However, check out this article and see if it helps.

Hi @DL-01041607-0,

If your Excel file is on your local desktop, Power Automate cannot directly monitor it because it only works with cloud-based storage like OneDrive for Business or SharePoint Online.

So Please store or sync your excel with onedrive then use the below trigger it will monitor that excel.
