Hello,
I have a SP list which I have customized it using powerapps. The form is created my HR once the form item is created in the SharePoint list manager goes back and adds attachments to that list item. what I want to do is once there is an attachments added to the item it will send out an email to that user asking them to acknowledge that they have finished the task. I know how to create a flow that sends out an email but I am stuck on a part where if user goes to that list and clicks on the item that has their name and opens it up to edit it should only show certain fields not all. Please help.
Is there a reason you need to bring the user back to the app to click a confirmation? I only ask because you could have flow handle that entirely where they can just click a button in the email to confirm it's all been finished instead.
(search "power automate approvals" to find many, many guides on this)
so the reason why I want to so that is because its like a tracker so they have to come every quarter to update/acknowledge their process. hope that makes sense
@crispybits1977 do you think is doable ?
Definitely possible - doing my day job right now will write some bits down for you later
oh ok thank you so much !
Hi @jasminepatel90 ,You can use a deep linking technique, this will direct users to their specific form once open button is clicked.More information how to implement deep linking you can find here - https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-apps/maker/canvas-apps/how-to/deep-linking
