I am new to Power Apps

I have a code component where I display a pdf, and when I test it locally with npm start watch , I can select the pdf text. After I imported it to my power app, I can't select the pdf text. I have added some text paragraphs within the component as well, and their text is not selectable either.

Is the text selection possible within code components? If so, can someone explain what could I be doing wrong or what am I missing?
