Connect to CDM from other systems

Hey all,

 

I am looking at a PowerApp which will have a data in the CDM and utilise all of the developmnet goodness that goes along with that. BUT ...

 

I need to make the data in CDM accessible to other systems outside of the Powerapp world.

 

Is there a way ODBC, connection strings etc. that will make CDM available to these systems?  Ideally I'd like to point something like SSIS at the CDM to routinely push/pull and sync data.

 

Appreciate any leads!  GB

    Hi @Anonymous

     

    So far it seems that PowerBI can pull in CDS (new name for CDM) data, please see here

     

    I would also appreciate being able to pull data into Excel's Power Query to use pivot tables, please vote up this idea if you agree:

    I imagine that once the above two are in production the rest will follow.
