Syntax error

I am building a Get events (v4). I put calendar for calendar id and my filter query is formatDateTime(utcNow(),'yyyy.MM.dd')

I am getting an error that says: Invalid filter clause: Syntax error at position 8 in '2023.09.19'.
clientRequestId: f4a7a3ce-554c-468f-af67-4211a2b8aee2
serviceRequestId: b8a65e3e-3705-4ed7-83e0-407ae74bc79c

What is wrong with it?

Would love to enter start date being greater than today's date, but don't know how to add that.

    Hey @JG23

    Filter query in get events v4 something looks like this:

    In the starting I have  given start date column. And in eq I have given your expression between two single quotes.

    Start/DateTime eq  'formatDateTime(utcNow(),'yyyy/MM/dd')'

    I hope this helps 🙂

    The correct date format for a filter query is '2023-09-19' formatDateTime(utcNow(),'yyyy-MM-dd')

    For some reason, I have tried both ways and still keep getting errors. In the expressions the DateTime does not populate, and I feel that may be the problem. So I have been manually typing it.

    I attempted it:

    @JG23

    Two things to correct in it:

    In formatDateTime expression write:

    slash(/) instead of dots(.)

    Or

    Dash(-) instead of dots(.)

    Like:

    formatDateTime(utcNow(),'yyyy-MM-dd')

    formatDateTime(utcNow(),'yyyy/MM/dd')

    And in the starting of the expression write single quote and at the end of the expression too write a single quote.

    @Sundeep_Malik Thank you. I did what you mentioned and still get an error.

    Start/DateTime eq formatDateTime(utcNow(),'yyyy/MM/dd')

    Invalid filter clause: An identifier was expected at position 18.
    clientRequestId: b37ec835-bf5c-423d-986e-e1ff68962cc4
    serviceRequestId: d5e2c309-79f4-4771-a535-6f05e4602f71

    I also put a single quote at beginning and end of expression and says invalid.

    Ok.

    Try this.

    Don't add anything in filter query, keep it empty.

    Take filter array action pass value coming from get events v4 action.

    Then on left side add the start date from the dynamic content.

    On right side add:

    utcNow('yyyy-MM-dd')

    Check with this if you are getting the event you want.

    @Sundeep_Malik

    I made it past the error, but now I get one for the filter array. Guessing I need a value? This is my first time using power automate/ flows to create an attendee registration guide I saw on youtube.
