Hello!

I've been trying different solutions on this forum but can't seem to get the final steps in my flow to work. I created a data request form, which when filled out, populates a Word template and creates a file in Sharepoint. Next, I'd like to take that file and email it to both the person who filled out the form and the data manager. However, I'm having issues connecting back to the file that was just created in Sharepoint. Flow as follows. It's failing at the Get File Metadata point.

Thank you for any suggestions!

Your Get File Content is using the List Item ID not the File Identifier.  So you aren't geting the right file content.

@Pstork1 Thanks for identifying the issue. Which is the correct input to use under File Identifier in Get file metadata and Get file content?

Instead of ItemId or ID look for 'Id' .  Or if you know the relative path where you created the file you can use that path inside an EncodeUriComponent() function to create the file identifier.  The file identifier is the relative path to the file where all the special characters have been replaced with hex equivalents.

@Pstork1 Beautiful! That did the trick. Thank you for the clarification and quick response.
