Workflow approvals

Hello, my name is Elle, and I am new to Power Automate. I am trying to create an approval workflow which begins from an employee completing a Microsoft List/Form which triggers an approval workflow via email to managers for approval.  The flow appears to be working but looks like it is coming from me - the creator of the workflow - rather than the employee that initiates the workflow:

What I would like to do is only reflect the requestor's name in the approval request rather them me. I would appreciate any advice on how to do this.

1) Have the initiator of the request be obvious in "Requested by..." in the first line

2) Have the approval response come from the manager, not me.

What it looks like: the manager’s received email contains the following

And this is the end users response to an approval.

As you will note, both these items appear to come from me (Elle) in the email address rather than the initiator of the request.

The workflow looks like this:

Any help would be appreciated!

Elle

The problem occurs because you are using an automated trigger for the flow. When using automated triggers the flow always runs in the security context of the maker. There is no way to send the approval as the creator of the list item if you are using an automated trigger.  You can easily retrieve the name and email address of the requestor and include those details in the body of the Approval, but not as the sender.

Thank you so much for your response! So if I don't use an automated trigger, any suggested solutions?

My suggestion was to include the name of the requestor in the body of the approval. if having the approval come from your mailbox is still a concern you can create a generic account with an Office 365 license and use it as a service account to send the email.  That's what most people do. The only other alternative would be to do the flow as a manual (instant) trigger. Then it runs in the context of the requestor. But in that case they would need to submit the item for approval, it would automatically be submitted just because they create the new item.
