Hi everyone,
Is there a way to enable Auto Height for Datacards in a form?
Thank you,
@soraiataipa ,
What do you mean by Auto Height?
You can refer to the card (Parent.Height) minus an amount allowing for top and bottom spacing. If you do this, it needs to be done for all controls in the form (or at least remove the "standard" X and Height set by Power Apps)

Hi @WarrenBelz
Thank you for responding.
In a form I've a datacard tha in some cases has 10 lines and in other just 2. Instead of setting the height as something equal, leaving a lot of blank space for the ones with just e lines of text, I'm wondering if there is a way that the height adjust automatically.
Can you h«give an example on how to follow your suggestion?
Hi @soraiataipa ,
A little bit inaccurate at times, but you could set the height as a division of the number of characters in the field
Len(FieldName).Text / Whatever
Thank you for replying and for presenting a suggestion. Unfortunatly, it doesn't work...
It does (sort of), but that is all I have to offer
Thank you again.
Maybe I'm not understanding how to do it. I've added the following formula to the Height:
Len(DataCardValue12.Text)/250
What happens is in some cases the data card is much bigger that the text and other it less then the text. In some cases it fits the text perfectly but the most of the cases gives a even bigger white space or a smaller space then the text.
Am I doing something wrong on applying the formula?
Best,
Soraia
That is why I said "sort of" . . . It is a simple division and depending on the font and line breaks, the formula will do exactly as you have experienced. It is actually on the Microsoft suggestions - you might want to vote for it.
Thank you again. I've voted on the suggestion. Would be great to have that development.
