Inconsistent Click Link On Webpage

I am trying to iterate through a table that has links in column 2. I am trying to click the link in each row.  In the first iteration, the link takes me to the desired page. However in the next iteration, the click doesn't do anything. There is no error. I tried adding a delay and  tried both with and without a physical click. I added a preceding step to focus text field on web page. When this happens, I can see the link get visually highlighted in yellow, but still the click doesnt work.

What happens (strangely) is the loop continues and the click works in rows 3, 5 , etc. It seems to skip every other row. The MainLoopIndex doesn't skip. So for some reason the click doesnt work on even rows.

Any suggestions?

Hi @Steve48  I hope you are doing well.

My recommendation is to grab the Selectors of a few of the links that you want the Bot click. Then analyze them and check the numbers and the difference between them.

If you see, you are mentioning that the Robot skip every other row, so I think the loop index should increase from 2 to 2.

I’m working on an automation project that needs to download a list of 19 reports, and the eq between each is 4, so it goes 4, 8, 12, you get it right hehe.

So, please try it in this way and let me know if it works, happy automation!,

Hi @WillSG The selector appears to be correct. Before the click action I focus on the row of interest. The correct row is highlighted in yellow. Then using the same selector I click the link. But nothing happens.

Hi @WillSG I solved the problem. I noticed, that by coincidence, the links in every other row were broken into two lines, I guess because they were longer.  In the advanced part of the action, I changed the relative mouse position to top center. I also added an attribute to the "a" at the end of the selector, but the action works with/ or without it. I was also able to remove the set focus action in the previous step.
