Permissions issue on Send email from Shared Mailbox (V2)

Hi,

I have a workflow requiring mail to be sent from shared mailboxes once a new item in a SharePoint list is created (triggered by a Power App) by any user. My account has permission to "send as" these shared mailboxes. I'd originally used the "Send an email (V2)" for this but received an error message "The user account which was used to submit this request does not have the right to send mail on behalf of the specified sending account., Cannot submit message." - so I'm assuming because the user that added the SharePoint list item doesn't have permission.

Following a suggested solution, I've changed to using the "Send email from Shared Mailbox (V2)" but am now receiving the error "The specified object was not found in the store., The process failed to get the correct properties". The Outlook Connector mage suggests this requires "access to the mailbox" and doesn't specify what level but I'm presuming "Send As" isn't sufficient? The mailboxes are sensitive so I'm unlikely to be given full access to them.

Is there a way to trigger mails from a shared mailbox with only "send as" access?

Cheers,

Alan

Is the flow using an automated or a manual trigger? If its an automated trigger you should be able to send mail from the mailbox with just Send As permission.  But I wonder if the problem is the security context for the flow.  If its a manual trigger then the flow will try to send the email using the permissions of the person who trigger the flow, which isn't you.

Thanks @Pstork1 - it was manually triggered based on a "Submit" button from a PowerApp form.

I've now updated the trigger to be automatic, using "When an item is created" in the SharePoint list... and this works - because its using my account permissions rather than the submitting users'. Seems so simple now!

    * I should add, this works with "Send an email (V2)" because I have Send As permissions, not the "Send email from a shared mailbox (V2)" operation I had been trying.

    Much appreciated.
