Retrieving data and some dates are empty and displays errors?

Hi team,

I have created a canvas app that has a gallery displaying data from an excel file.

When switching between weeks of the gallery I receive the following error message. Im not sure what text I have or what other data its trying to fetch when getting this message.

First I thought it could be related to the Weekday I was trying to display but I removed that part and re-rean the app a few times and its still there. I cannot understand this.. is there any tips of debugging  such error message?

We have a column i the excel file with the date format of 2023-05-26 for example and some of those rows are empty sometimes...but cannot find what piece in the gallery that is requesting that...

    Hi @fiddlerx

if you want look more into error details you can use Monitor feature of Powerapp. it will provide you what exactly happening clearly

if you can show sample data and what formula you are getting error in gallery probably, we could help more.

Got a bit more information now bu still cannot find what it is that causes this.

Could it be related to when just collecting the whole Table1 data some dates are not correctly formated since I cannot find any thing in my tiny app that requests data from this column...

    Hello @fiddlerx

This issue is most likely caused because you are using an Excel data source. Excel has a not-so-good reputation when it comes to providing data to power apps, a more detailed version here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RtmZM3tm2Zs

    Example:

    https://powerusers.microsoft.com/t5/Building-Power-Apps/Date-amp-Time-from-excel-data-source-not-showing-gallery/td-p/948242

Nevertheless, can you try re-adding your data source as that might be a quick fix for this issue? Just remove that table then add i again as one issue with excel is that when you make structure changes to the data source, it doesn't update that structure in power apps automatically. Have to re-add it.
