Microsoft Planner Integration with Dynamics 365

Using power automate we can sync the data between planner and an entity in dynamics CRM.

Now the first challenge is there is no trigger "when a task is updated" in the flow so the data synced with dynamics is being accomplished only for these below action triggers:

How can we overcome this ?? Need a constant sync between planner and dynamics entity.

Also is there a way we can surface this planner in the dynamics form??

Open to suggestions. All response appreciated.

Did you ever happen to solve this?  We REALLY need a solution to integrate Planner with our Dynamics Customer Service.

Seems like it would be a natural fit with Dynamics Tasks associated with Cases...but I am not seeing very much discussion on it in my searches.

If you are looking to surface Microsoft Planner in the UI there is no direct option but to embed canvas app in the form and do the data sync using power automate.

For data sync both ways you can use this available connecter below and with the Graph API you will be able to create a new plan whenever a case is created. [You will notice that a unique id is required to be maintained in case record(EX: Planner GUID)].

Use power automate then to create this sync between both. You might need to take this decision to update tasks only with the available OOB triggers of Planner but you can still explore the API option.

    Hope it helps!
