Break the loop - Teams trigger by keyword

Hi all,

I have a flow triggered by the keyword 'report'. When a user enters this in the channel, an adaptive card displays asking which report they would like to get (followed by Exporting the File for Power BI Reports and emailing the PNG file).

Of course, asking which report they would like uses the trigger keyword, which triggers the flow again and results in a loop.

How can I prevent this from happening?

The easiest way would be to create the flow using an account that won't ever ask for a report. Then add a trigger condition to check who is using the keyword and not triggering if it is the flow account user. This article is for SharePoint but the concept is the same. I was able to work around this by editing the flow so it looked for more than one keyword. Perhaps not ideal as the flow does get kicked off repeatedly, but it stops when "Get Message Details" looks for the word 'send'.
