Populate text field on web page - not finding UI element

Hi All -

I'm attempting to use Populate text field with Web Page however I can't select the correct UI Element.

I have the extension installed and have used this on another website with it working,

I added the UI element manually titled "Edit 'Plan Option Name'"

However when I go to populate text it only shows some of the UI elements?

Furthermore if I click "Add UI element" - Then left + Ctrl click the text field to add it manually it shows that I grabbed it however after I click finish I come back and the UI isn't available.

The 3rd option is to use web recorder to select it by which it won't let me select the field. as it will only put a large red box around the entire frame.

Anyone have any ideas to help here?

unfortunately I can't share the website for help on this one,

EDIT - I should add that my original try I used web recorder to record my actions selected in multiple fields and typed in them however it didn't catch any of the actions. I am wondering if the type of webpage is causing issues?

EDIT2 - I see Iframes in the code and this is an Iframe I know embedded in another website - is that what is blocking everything? / if so is there a workaround?

Thanks,

Shane

Try using 'Populate text field in window' instead of 'Populate text field on Web Page'.

Usually, when a captured element doesn't show in a web automation action, it does in a UI automation action, even if it's browser related.
