Lookup and adding other column data

Hi All

I have a column in a SPL that will be a drop down.  The drop down will have several Project Managers names such as Tom Smith when I use the drop down and select Tom name I want to populate his email address and telephone number in two other columns. I think I am going to need a spectate flow and SPL for all the data on the Project Managers.  It would also help if we could use teams phone system to be able to dial out with the telephone number field.

I hope that gives some a starter for 10 all i need is some steps that I will work through myself if this a possible.

Regards,

Andrew

    Hi @Andrew_J ,

    Based on your description, you can achieve it by using the 'When an item is created' trigger in your flow. However, the field will not be populated right after you change the PM value in the Dropdown: you will need to save your record, then Power Automate will capture the event (new item created) and update the email/phone columns.

    Assuming that the PMs are members of your Microsoft tenant, you can get these data (email and phone number) from the 'Users 365' connector ('Search for users' action).

    @rzaneti

    It had to be very simple and although the PMs are not in my Tenant it will still work.

    I want to make it very simple for the client in sending me work in that he provide the basics and I can go from there.

    I am marking this as SOLVED.

    Regards,

    Andrew
