Hi all,
I am wondering if it is possible to have a button/link inside an app which users can click to open a word document? Either on the desktop Word or online Word?

If you store the Word document in a SharePoint Library and then link the Library as a Data Source to your app, then you can Launch the 'Link to item' property of the Library File record.

Is it possible to open the documents in different tabs?From the gallery select one document, open in one tab. Select second document, open in a different tab.Thank youI found a solution.Using Download instead of launch, will create separate tabs.
