Post a message as another user?

I have created a sample flow to see what it can do.

Upon creating the flow i have noticed a few things, and wsa not sure if the following is possible...

When a new item from a sharepoint list is created, it posts a message to: Teams and Yammer.

However, the post to Yammer and Teams comes from the person who created the Flow and not the person who submitted the new item.

How can i make the new post to Teams and Yammer come from the person who created the new item/message?

So i am not able to post a conversation on my channel as the user who created the new item?

As they are the instigator of that run in flow, it would make sense to me the post in the channel is theirs

    Hi @v-micsh-msft

    Thank you for the response.

I thought that was the case.

Will suggest it as a feature.

    Kind regards

    Henry

    Hi @Anonymous,

    Thanks for the feedback.

    Currently this is not available.

The Microsoft Teams and Yammer connection would need sign-in information, and that part is somehow hardcoded in the Flow design phase, which can't be switched after flow has been created.

As a wrokaround, please consider add the item creator information within the message body, then switch the service connection account to a "Public " account.

    Regards,

    Michael
