Version History on a flow no longer saving

Posted on by
Hi there,

Having an issue with version history, which was working fine for my script at the end of last year but does not appear to be working anymore.

I have been building a script in a Solution since last year. Version history was saving as normal last year, but when I returned to working on it this year, version history no longer saves. I have been making changes to the script over the last few days (since Jan 22) and there are no logs in version history since 12 dec 2025 (the last day in 2025 that I worked on the script last year). When I click on the 'latest version' made on Dec 12 at 4.21pm, it loads the latest version I saved this year e.g. 29 Jan 2026. When I click on the previous version (12 Dec 2.27pm), it shows the version saved on that date, many iterations behind.

I have not moved the script out of the solution at any time. When I noticed the issue, I tried making a new script in the solution and on the new designer, when I publish any changes, no version history is saved at all. When I click into version history, it remains blank. I am working in a work environment, unsure if anything changed outside of my control that would have impacted this.

I have attached two images below. One shows what I can see on the version history tab, and one shows the flow's run history from this year (I have edited, published and tested the script this year but the version history isn't be saved anymore).

Has anyone experienced anything like this? Would love to know how to fix the issue, as version history is a really useful tool!
