I have an app that works perfectly fine when I play it while editing it; however, when I publish it the play it, it stops working. Any ideas what can be causing this issue?
Can you please provide some more details? After you publish the app, how did you play the app? Did you play the app from web.powerapps.com or from within the authoring experience? Does the app play but show nothing or what is the behavior that shows it doesn't work? Any screenshot is helpful as well.
You might want to try going into app settings and turning off some of the preview features.
If you are using SQL as a data source, try turning off the Explicit Column selection - this has worked for me when experiencing similar issues.

@linhtranI played the app from web.powerapps.com. When I play it when editing it, it works as expected. When I publish and play it, it does not work.
With being said, @PaulD1 your suggestion worked. It was both the Explicit column selection and Improved app rendering (final validation) preview settings that were preventing the app from collecting data from my SQL data source and was causing issues, such as FK_ID not found.

I am having the same issue however, I am using a sharepoint list as data source.
It works when in edit mode, but not when published on powerapps app on Iphone or in the web browser.
Any suggestions?
