This was working perfectly for over a year until I factory reset my phone. If I open the Power Apps app (Android), I see my app and it opens fine. There isn't a 3 bar button beside it in a lot of documentation I see (I only see an i in a circle). I click on the i > Pin to Home and it pins it to the home just fine. When I try and open it from home screen I get "app can't be opened." Eventually it shows as a grey icon as if it's disabled. The app is newly installed, my phone is freshly factory reset so why won't it work anymore?

You might try removing and re-adding the PowerApp app. Just a guess!Otherwise, I just double checked on mine that the pinning works fine.
Not that I am providing a definitive "here's the problem", but simply informing that it works and there is not some bug in the PowerApps App.
Ya it was working perfectly pinned on my phone for year. I'll try another uninstall, reinstall.
Yeah, it would seem like an App protocol issue. If I was to make a guess, the pinned app has a protocol tag to it that the Android system then needs to determine the app that is associated with that protocol...then run it. Seems like that is not happening. How to fix?...I am not sure. I thought perhaps an uninstall and re-install would repair it.
That worked. Weird that the first install got corrupted but hey, it's working now thank you.
YAY!!! Glad it worked!
