How to mask the Credentials Data

Hi Team,

I have a requirement to store the sensitive data in a variable (either input or local variable) as a default variable. When we set the default value I can see the value what we typed. In earlier version I saw the input variable when we create will be masked (with dots) if the data type is password. Now that option itself is not coming for the new version.

Is there any possible way to mask the default value that we set to the input or local variable (which itself is sensitive data variables) ?

Thanks

Sankarlal

So, you don't have this dropdown on Input Variables?

    Hi @shankarlalu

This is the sensitive variable masked as dots

Whether you want to see it or not is determined by this "eye" button.

But there is no way to permanently mask the text in the variable.

    HI @VJR and @MichaelAnnis

I was not getting the dropdown option in the input variable with the latest version, but with the earlier version, I used to get the dropdown to select the data type.

It's the "Mark as sensitive" toggle button.
