2 column section component does not show 2 columns, and cannot take 2 controls in a row

Hi guys; I am trying to include a 2-column section component into my Model Drivel Power Apps. Its refusing to take the 2 controls; actually its not even showing the other column but one column.

Anyone faced such and the solution/s?

Yeah, on occasion the modern editor for forms can get a bit buggy. Try opening it in Classic: sometimes that can show you some weird formatting that got accidentally shoved in there and is confusing the modern editor.
