Using Power Automate to share Dataverse Row with the Power Platform Environment Access Team

Hi everyone!

I'm struggling with this topic as I cannot find any 'guide/post' about case like that. I was using previously the unbound action for such things (granting/revoking) permissions, but what I'm missing with the Access Team - there is no ID of any kind (or I'm just unable to find one) to refer to when composing the User Principal Name.

To sketch the overall topic - we want to create the application for one of the divisions that's having the country-oriented teams. We want to collect all of the records in one Dataverese table and based on the country sharing this record only with the specific team. For some reason there might be 'additional' users that'll need to have access to these records beside the teams themselves (so that's why we cannot really use already existing Security Groups that were created for these teams), so here idea of using the Assess Teams.

I just need a flow where: When new Row is added -> Check the country -> Lookup for a team -> share with a team. - just this.

Did anyone did something like this? 🙂 - or maybe is there another easy way of sharing rows automatically?

have you tried to update the owner of the row (owning_team) to your access team?

Aditionally use the unbound GrantAccess (Readaccess) action (in an operationset) to grant access for those additional users that are not in the team

Edit/PS: You will need to have a security role with read privilege in your table assigned to the owning team

That sounds good 🙂 - I'll give it a try. Thank you for idea.
