I have 'Run Excel macro' actions in my Power Automate flow,

and sometimes, during this action, Excel goes into a 'not responding' state.

This state persists until I manually terminate Excel through the task manager,

causing all the scheduled processes to become queued.

I want to implement a process where,

if the runtime exceeds 15 minutes, the process is terminated.

Is it possible to do so?

The Run Excel macro action does not have a timeout parameter. And you cannot really have a parallel action doing some wait or counter in PAD to actually check how long the macro is running for. There are also no global timeout functionalities in PAD alone. The only way to really do this would be if you were calling your desktop flow from the cloud portal and then make the cloud flow timeout after a certain number of minutes. When that happens, it would throw an error and the desktop flow would be terminated.
