variable value viewer missing in UI Desktop flow

The 'Variable Value Viewer' is missing in UI Desktop flows 'Flow Designer', and the 'View' icon with the eye icon is disabled. Is this b/c I am running a trial version right now, or perhaps do I need to update the console for UI Desktop RPA's? Or is this a gateway issue perhaps?

As always, any and all help is needed/welcome, links appreciated!

    The view icon for a variable is disabled when the flow hasn't been executed in edit mode.

    WOW! Very interesting tidbit! Thank You! I added a wait 1 second as first step and a break-point, ran the flow, stopped the flow, and amazingly enough, it appeared, and was not disabled! Thanks again for the help, very interesting indeed!
