Creating a flow to check for exsisitng data in MS Form excel file

Good day,

I have created a form within SP for voting nominees for an AGM. This form has 2 sections, first section, first name, last name and member account number

Second section are the various positions and nominees.

I would like to create a check against all fields in section 1, so if you have already voted, you will not be allowed to vote again.

Can you give guidance to a complete newbie?

I have created the form using MS forms in my portal and not via sharepoint. ( if that helps) I can create it in sharepoint if required

thanks

    Hi!
So they way to make sure nobody votes twice is by storing 'member account number' from first section and reject duplicates right?
I think the basics (get form response + create SP item) are explained here, please take a try:

Once you implement the basics, you should probably need to add 'Get items' action block just after the Forms related action block to read all current items in your SP list, then use a Filter to get just items matching your 'member account number'. Then you need to add a Condition, if nr of results is 0, then move 'Create item' to the true branch, leave false branch empty
Did you already define your SP list, right?
    Hope this helps
