Versions depend on the region your account is registered to. They are not released globally at the same time. The one you have (2.35.159.23221) is the latest currently available, but it may not be available in your regions. You can find more info about the released versions here: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-platform/released-versions/power-automate-desktop (but this page is often a bit behind actual releases).
I sometimes get later versions on my Windows 11 machine than I do on my Windows 10 machine.
Regardless, if you are both on 2.35.xxx.xxxxx, it should still work fine, if they copy their flow again to a new file. Syntax changes usually apply on major updates (such as 2.34 to 2.35), not minor patches and hotfixes.
However, if they have any premium features in their flow and you do not have a premium account, copying and pasting will also not work. Premium features include the following action groups:
- Work queues
- Logging
- SharePoint
- Office 365 Outlook
- OneDrive for Business
I assume that, because you're trying to share a flow this way by copying and pasting it to text files, at least one of you does not have a premium license. If your colleague does have it, but you do not, you must make sure that premium features are not included in the flow, because you cannot use them.
