Enter Key Clearing Text

Have a PAD flow that I am working on that for some reason when I am using the send keys function to send an "Enter" key command its clearing out the input box. I tested out running the flow and pausing it right before the send key function to hit enter. And when doing it straight from the UI hitting enter works as expected. What could be the difference between me hitting enter in the UI vs using send key on the same UI element ? Note I have other send key functions on the same UI element that are working its only the enter key that is causing me problems.

It is likely because if you only send the Enter key, it still focuses the text field and selects the existing value. So, sending the Enter key overwrites it.

You should either use Send keys to write the entire value, instead of just sending the Enter key. Or send a right arrow key before the Enter key, so it moves to the end of the value, instead of having it all selected.

I tried sending a right arrow then enter and still getting the same results. I had tried even using the down arrow followed by enter earlier and still same behavior.

Have you tried to simply send the keystrokes to the window instead of the specific UI element, like you do with the Delete key in line #9?
