Hello,
Really new to Power Automate but really enjoying and have this forum to be very useful in resolving issues I run into but I am not stuck and could do with some help.
My Flow is this
User fills in MS Forms flow then sends that information to SharePoint list (this bit works brilliantly)
At the same time I want email to be sent containing that information (which also works) for the manager to approve or not the information.
I what that approval or not, to update a column of the SharePoint list on the row containing the original MS form submitted data (hope that makes sense)

I have tried "Update Item" and "Send an Https Request to SharePoint" but can't get either to work. I am assuming its something to do with trying to look up the id of the original submission in order to update but I am not sure, Any help appriciated.

Hi,

I believe the problem is the parallel branch. Try using the below structure:

If you use the Create item before the send email there's no need to use a Delay action 😀

Hello,
Thank you for the quick response. I have tried your suggestion but I think my implementation of it was incorrect as I get a similar error of the item not being found when clicking approve.

I have changed id field in "Update Item 2" action to ID and it works. Thank you so much
