I have built a flow that sends emails with sales data for each client from Power BI. The users of this flow are my sales representatives. I have added all my sales representatives as users of the flow. However, when they send emails, the client receives the email with my address. How can I ensure that each sales representative triggers the flow with their own email address?
I have tried using "get my profile" to use the trigger's email address and put it in the "From" field of "Send email V2," but it crashes and the flow does not execute.
Can you share how you were calling it though, as in the expression you used, as you are on the right track.
The issue however is this. Unless you personally have permission to send on their behalf, it will not work no matter what you do. Its an entire security risk. Imagine if people could just email on behalf of anyone.
You need to create a Shared Account, that has permission to email for these folks (not you) and then use that to send on their behalf then it works.
