I have scoured the internet and cannot find a solution.
Not to hammer the updated PowerAutomate cloud flows, but I don't like the new flavor. I couldn't get a flow to work at all.
Besides that, I need some help with an issue that I cannot find a way for this to work.
I have a cloud flow that saves the content of an Excel file in .xlsx format to a file in SharePoint (Create file) using the Attachment Content from the source file. I get an error that the extension is incorrect or the file is corrupted when I try to open it.
The source file in the email I can open without an issue. The one created with the flow does not.
This works for normal data files that don't contain pivot tables in the source files being processed.
Am I missing something?
I have been using PA for a while now to store attachment contents from xlsx files without an issue.
Alternately, can I specify the data file contents if no way to do this?
I will create a sample file if it is required.
Thanks in advance
S
Update: Except for the new method to create a flow, I have been able to resolve the issue. It was actually working.
The issue was opening the file in Excel Online that failed. Once downloaded to local drive and opening it that way, it worked.
It is now being consumed as its purpose was designed for.
Thanks to all that looked anyway.
