Hi!

I am trying to select a value from a drop-down list on a web page, but I keep getting an error. I have tried using index and name, but both won't work. I want to try and find the value I need based on the name, because the place where it is stored keeps changing.

The UI element is selected like this:

The name I want to find is quite long (reference number + address and name of company)

But I keep getting these error messages. What can I do to fix this?

I am not that familiar with the dropdown list action, but the things that come to mind regarding your problem are:

Are you sure that the error is for not finding the dropdown-list item on the element ... or not finding the element itself? Either way, customizing the element/list item to be more dynamic may help you. Once I realized how this worked, my flows became much more stable instantly. Is it an option to use OCR/image recognition in the navigation ... this is not preferred, but if there is not other way and it works ... then it works.
Is it an option to completely circumvent the dropdown-list? Can you for example navigate to the desired target by configuring a target URL?
