Selecting Date from Calendar

Hello All,

I am trying to select the date from the calendar in the web application based on the Excel file using desktop flow. Please suggest options within desktop flow to achieve this.

take the selector by using add ui element of a particular date
and change it into dynamic by editing the UI element and by enabling the text editor

Date pickers are usually a bit of a pain to automate. Try seeing if you can pass the date as a parameter in the URL or type it into a field instead of using the date picker.

If you absolutely must use the date picker, you will need to capture the element and then modify it. Please see this article on modifying selectors: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-automate/desktop-flows/build-custom-selectors

Hi Agnius,
Thank you for your suggestion. Below is the inspected value of the calendar icon in the web application. I couldn't able to update the value using the 'Populate Text' web action. Please suggest the flow action to select a date in the calendar icon.

Well, in that case, you will need to use Press button in web page to open the date picker and then also another Press button in web page action to press on the specific date. But you will need to modify the selector for the specific date button to contain a variable that allows you to provide a date that you want to click on.
