Hello,
I created a flow using a template called, Translate non-English emails from Outlook.com. At first, I thought it was working perfectly fine, but then realized that it cannot translate simple, short sentences when it's going through the Flow.
Thinking it was the inaccuracy of Microsoft Translator app, I went to the Microsoft Translator app and translated the same, simple sentence I used on MS Flow and it translated perfectly fine on the Microsoft Translator app.
I'm just wondering why the translator works fine when I use the app, but why doesn't it do the same translation when I use the app within Flow?
I'm attaching a picture of my flow as well as the result translation from Flow and direct translation from Microsoft Translator app by itself.
I tried with Chinese but it doesn't translate correctly either.
I checked my flow that said it ran successfully and it recognized Chinese and translated to English but it did not translate to English when I receive the translated email.
Now my assumption is that Microsoft Flow has many bugs and is not perfect to utilize yet.
Could you provide your assumptions what the problem here would be if you think differently?
Hi @Anonymous,
Thanks for your feedback.
According to your description, I started the flow from the template. Then I tested with Korean, Japanese in addition to Chinese.
The simple sentence I used was “what are you doing”. However, when it is Korean, it will be translated to “what you are?”. While both Japanese and Chinese were translated correctly.
Have you tried with other language on your side? will you get the same issue with me?
Please help test on your side and back to me with the result. I will help report it on my side.
Best regards,
Mabel Mao
