Can I create a FLOW from an Issue tracker list?

Hi All,

I need to setup an issue tracker on one of my sites.  The issue trackers are still in the classic exprience, and I do not see the option to create a FLOW.  Can i create a FLOW on a classic list or do I need to create a custom list in Modern experince?

TIA,

Joe

    Hi @jaylou

You're correct, the option to create a Flow is only available in the modern experience. However, you can create a Flow for lists with classic experience directly in the Flow site https://us.flow.microsoft.com/en-us/. If for some reason the list doesn't show after you select the trigger or the action, you have the option to enter a custom value. You can enter the list name there.

Yes, but is it a supported practice by MS? Anyone knows?

    Hi @Anonymous

Just because the Create a flow option is not available through in a classic list UI, does not mean is not supported by Microsoft. Since Flow is completely independent from SharePoint, it will work with data from SharePoint, whether this data is in a modern or classic list.

    Regards.
