Unable to Run Power Automate Desktop Flow in Unattended Mode Triggered via HTTP Request

I am currently implementing a Power Automate solution where a Dialogflow CX Cloud Function triggers a Power Automate Cloud Flow via an HTTP request. The cloud flow, in turn, connects to a Power Automate Desktop Flow that runs UI automation tasks in the backend while the user is on a phone call.

However, I am facing issues with running the desktop flow in unattended mode. Specifically:

  1. The desktop flow does not execute as expected when invoked via the HTTP trigger.
  2. The UI automation tasks fail to initiate, and the process seems to halt without error logs providing clear details.
  3. The intended scenario is for the desktop flow to operate in the background (unattended) while the user remains engaged in the phone call.

    Unattended flows by definition run in their own user context in a user session. So unless the target machine where you want to run the flow is a server based OS (one that allows multiple concurrent logins) then you won't be able to run unattended in the background while another user runs in the foreground.  There is no foreground/background in Desktop flows. Everything runs on the desktop.  Unfortunately, the scenario you describe isn't feasible with either attended or unattended desktop flows.
