Forms -> Planner: Send Mail to Forms Responder if Planner task is fullfilled.

Hi,

is there a way to generate an Email for a responder in forms if a task is fullfilled?

 

For now the flow works like this:

1. Person A use a forms formular to submit some infos.

2. These infos are stored in a sharepoint list

3. A task in planner is created based on these infos

4. The task in planner is assigned to two peopler (NOT Person A)

 

What I would like tot do: If the Planner task is fullfilled, PowerAutomate  should send an Email to Person A, that the task is fullfilled.

 

Would that be possible?

    It could be achieved in another flow using the trigger "When a task is completed":

    Hi,

    my problem is: how do I get the email adress from within the description of the planner task?

    I cannot find a way to filter the description.

    Hi @svahl 

     

    If you would like to get the dynamic content of email address from the form, you could use your previous flow: When a new response is submitted > Get response details to get the dynamic content of Responders' Email to use in the "Send an email" action.

    To achieve when the task is completed, send email to person A, you could use the condition and let the completed date time not equal to null:
