Sharepoint Contact App

Hello guys,

I wanted to make a Contact APP, where it would show all the contacts in both sharepoint contacts lists, outlook, and even cellphone.

The thing is here, when i try to get contacts form a sharepoint contact list, it won't show up, and it won't work. Someone told me that with azure, i could basically achieve anything with powerapps, but when i use azure, i don't see anything that can help my case.

Can someone help me in this situation? I am just looking to find a way to put the contact sharepoint list on the app, with or without azure,i am not worried about the rest.

You can't use the SharePoint Contacts List in PowerApps because currently there isn't a Modern Version of the app.  With the SharePoint Conference next week maybe there will be some announcement on when they intended to roll out a Modern Version of that list, who know?

I'm not sure how many contacts you have in your SharePoint list but if you really want to get this up and running, one thing I might suggest is to create a custom list with all the same fields as your contact list and copy that information over.  That way you can use that information in PowerApps.  I had the same need and that's what I did in the meantime to work-around the issue.

    Hi @Field,

Yes, you should be able to create an app with SharePoint Contact list. Even though the contact list name does no show up, you could type your list name in the "Enter custom list name" option, and then with this selected, click on Connect. After this, an auto-generated is created for you with your contact list as data source.

Yeah, i could do that, but the thing is, i want to see several contact sharepoing list, and not put all the contacts into a sharepoint list.

The way you are saying is to put everyone in a sharepoint list, but what i want is to see all contacts (Both sharepoint, and outlook contact list)

I wanted to use all Sharepoint Contacts that are synced with outlook, into the app.
