Hi,

I have create several desktop flows that runs on the same server. Because they all are running on the same server the flows take to long. I now have to ways to scale.

1. Adding one or more self hosted machines
2. Using Microsoft hosted Machine groups

I think that Microsoft hosted machine groups are the right way to go here, because my customer want the flows to run a lot faster than they are doing now and sometimes they dont use the flows at all. so it should be able to scale. I am just not sure how reliable Microsoft hosted machine groups are when using a custom image of my current machine? My current machine have a legacy application installed that is being used by the desktop flows. It also have excel installed and uses a onedrive shortcut to sharepoint.

If i take an image of my current machine, will the microsoft hosted machine groups run theses images reliably? i mean, the desktop flows are dependent on the application being shown in the exact same spot on every server.

Thank you

    Hi ,

You can use custom vm images for the hosted machine groups, In their documentation, they have mentioned the details along with the vm image prerequisities.
