Teams Mobile: Send a Map Pin & Workflows

On Microsoft Teams you can select + then Location then Send a Map pin. That will add your location address to the chat/channel. I want to capture this information automatically to add to SharePoint and eventually add it to a Microsoft Form I have (which does not have a drop pin feature).

I am able to see the flow in the desktop but it does not appear in the mobile app. I also tried to use Flow button for mobile.

I tried to do an automatically trigger flow but that just starts an endless loop. Anyone have any ideas? suggestions?

Desktop I can see the flow

Mobile I do not

    Hi,

My understanding of the location information is that Microsoft does not allow this to be shared without the user's consent, aka they have to manually share it for privacy reason.  A few years ago, I did a lot of research on this and that's what I found.  I don't think anything has changed to date.

An example that comes up all the time:

"I want to be able to see where my remote workers are located while they work."  Unless they push the pin, there's no way to capture that in Power Automate (that I am aware of).

I created a flow a few years ago that would track deliveries.  When the user uses the mobile instant flow on their phone, you can capture their location exactly where their phone is at the time of processing.  Works great.  But again, here, the user is pushing the button and electing to share their information.

I am in the same predicament. I need to be able to have some field employees send a pin for certain scenarios. I was going to use the manual trigger but I cant get the workflow button to show on the mobile app.
