Can Approver add Data during an "Approval" Action?

Hi Gents, I'm thinking to allow the approver to input data while he's approving and request at the "Approval Action".

For example,
An applicant has submitted an OT Application with proposed OT Start Time and OT End Time. The Approver however would like to approve the OT Application with an amendment to the OT Start Time and OT End Time.

Is it possible to have an action/option at the "Start and Wait for an Approval" that allow the approver to input a new data.

Thanks

Raymond

    Hello @Raymondwkmok

Before starting the approval, you could save the form elements in a SharePoint list, for instance. When the approve receives the approval email, he/she could update the items in the SharePoint list, and when it is approved, you can send the confirmation back to the user with the new dates.

    Hope it helps!

Hi Ferran, it does help and I understand the logic behind your suggested workflow.

I however don't know which action(s) I have to use in order to allow the approver to update the items in the SharePoint list when it is approved.

Please share more advice for me to go forward.

    Thanks

    Hello @Raymondwkmok

After approving the request, you could send a Teams message, for example:

    link.png

Clicking on the link, the approver could modify the item created in the SharePoint list (if he/she has the correct permissions).

    Hope it helps.
