Mapping text in "Send Key" command to right UI element ????

Hi Experts,

I was trying to automate Dynamics365 app with PAD. I have captured input text fields with populated text field web page command but Dynamics365 is not recognizing data. when flow entered data and move to next field , previous field text field data getting removed. So I used "Send Key" to enter data at text field see code below. In populated text field command has UI capture so it enter data at right place. In my code send key command is right after populate text field command. My question is - is this right way to map text in send key to UI element ??. Thank you in advance

@Shashankpuli, I think if you are using the "Send Keys" action, you should be using the "Focus text field in window" or "Click on UI Element in window" action right before you send keys so the text field "activates" or you see the cursor in the text field before you send the text.

Hi @crelke , Thank you for quick response.

I have one more question: I have to capture data in Look up field(from list)(in Dynamics 365 web app)
when we open browser this how lookup field look like
When we click on field it looks like below screen shot and I have select language from the list(based on the text we enter on field it will show list). Can you suggest me how to achieve this thing . I have tried to enter data with send key action and using send key command again - {Down} (So that flow can select first value in list) but it did not worked for me. Please let me know if you have any thoughts . Thank you in advance ...

@Shashankpuli, when you send the down key and you play the automation, does the field highlight after that action? I would truly also using the {Enter} action, or you can try and use the wait for image action to select the result.

Have you tried using the recorder feature to record your steps and see what steps/actions it records?

@crelke I have managed using delay between Keystrokes by giving 200 millsec. Thank you so much for your quick response
