Rating app on SharePoint list

Hi all,

I have an issue and some questions for you :

I have a SharePoint communication site with a list that contains different projects I have with a customer.

I created some stuff around this list and my customer and I are really satisfied about that.

My issue is this one :

I would like to add a rating system of the project directly in the list. Unfortunately, the SP communication site doesn't allow to add the rating system.

So I wanted to create a small rating app on Power App linked on the list and I wanted to know if it's possible to use it like a pop'up page?

I know we can add a trigger button for a flow in Power Automate (like this) and I wanted to know if it's possible to use it for an app?

Or something like the form I have personalized to add items on the list (when I click on "New"). I used PowerApp to edit the button commands and it's perfect like that.

So the result I want is this one :  List of my projects with a button I can hide/shom depending of a status and when I click on it, having my "rating app" to add the value on my list. Is it possible?

If you have any other idea, I'll be glad to listen to you...

Thank you in advance,

    Hi @Varik,

Another approach could be to customize the new form of your list and change the control type of edit number to edit rating for your specific rating field in your list.

Below is an example of that approach.

In this example I have customized the form and changed the control for the field RatingPowerApps from Edit Number to Edit rating.

    Hello @Expiscornovus ,

    Thank you for your answer.

Unfortunately, I add projects by my PowerApp form on my list and I ask for the rating when the project is over.

So, your solution looks not possible in my case.

    Hi @Varik,

Apologies, maybe the new form wasn't the best suggestion after reading your requirements again.

You can also customize other forms of your list. Below is another example. Let me know if that is a bit closer to your requirements?

    1. Show only the Project Rating when Project status equals Finished.

    2. This customized form will be shown when you try to edit an item in the list

    3. When you select the Finished Project status the Project Rating will be shown

    Hi again @Expiscornovus ,

Thank you for the answer, it could be a solution.
I can't test it right now but I will try asap.

    Thank you for the answer
